Rivers played a high role though out China's history. The major ones are the Yellow and Yangtze Rivers. The Yellow River is used as a major water highway. The Yangtze is the 4th largest river (3,474 miles in length) in the world! Also, the rivers are an important source of life. Water supplies communities with lusicous fish crab, lobster, and more sea life. Surrounding areas are given fertile basins and rich soil. So, without rivers, Cina won't ever be like today. However, rivers were never used as a religious aspects.
